Research Program - Advanced Technologies Based on Polymer Materials
The main objectives of the research program:
- Preparation of nanocomposite polymer hydrogels with unique properties, the study of their structure and properties, particularly those relating to deformation and strength.
- Evaluation of physical properties of polymeric membranes, electrode materials and structures used in existing hydrogen fuel cells on the basis of thermodynamic analysis of all relevant processes, including their mutual interaction.
- Optimization of the operating characteristics (operating time and reliability) of hydrogen fuel cells.
- The development of a mathematical model of the processes in membranes and electrodes and their numerical simulation.
